Some nice changes this time around:
1. Searching is improved to perform keyword based search, so ‘baked ham’ and ‘ham baked’ return the same results. I also plan on taking words like ‘cooked’ and translating them to the USDA abbreviations, which in the case is ckd. It should also help improve searching.
2. Grouped Items! Yes you can now use group items together to make a group. So you can create a new group called ‘Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich’ and add in all the components.
3. Track by meal time instead of by time. A new option will allow you to track by Meal type, e.g., ‘Breakfast’, as opposed to entering the time in all the time.
Should be submitted to the Apple this weekend for approval.
