Release 2.3

Should be available shortly. This is the last release, baring any bugs, while I work on syncing between iDevices. I’ve gone through all the emails for features people requested and think I have them finished in this release.

New features

  • Notes are now included in the daily/weekly reports.
  • When copying the previous day, you can now select which items to copy
  • On the Food and Activty logs, you can now swipe to delete
  • You can now export user created food items. The export file is suitable for re-importing into the app
  • Extended multi-user support to the iPhone and iPod Touch

Bugs’s fixed

  • All of the Dunkin Donut food items’ nutritional info was incorrect.

Fixed it!

I finally figured out why the Validation(null) error occurs and have submitted the fix to the App Store!
A couple of other things I fixed:
1. When you have selected an item for a daily log entry, and then go back to the list, it now scrolls to that spot in the list.
2. When you start typing to perform a search, the search results will appear immediately. If this feature is too slow on your device, you can turn it off in the settings
3. The bonus points for values plus were off.

Validation Error(null)

If you get this error, which for the life of me I can’t figure why it happens please do the following:
1. Exit the App
2. Double click the home button to bring up the list of running applications
3. Find the icon for Track To Lose it and press and hold until it wiggles
4. Tap the minus button to remove Track To Lose it from the list of running apps
5. Double click the home button again to remove the running app list

You should now be able to use Track To Lose It again without issues.

Emailing me for support is preferred to posting a bad review.

  • When adding entries if a field is 0, it is now blanked out as opposed to making the user hit the ‘x’

Please keep your suggestions coming! I want to improve the app so that you, the users, enjoy it on your weight loss journey!

According to this article, yes. Basically those who eat lunch later tend to lose weight the slowest.

Food List and Points

Please be aware that there is a difference between values and values plus. Values refers to the former WW points system, and generally has lower points values. Values Plus refers to the current Points Plus WW system, and has higher points values per food.

I believe I have the default for new users to be Values, but I’ll change it to Values Plus, as I think this is causing confusion with new users who say that the points values are off.

Also the USDA has updated their database, so I’ll be adding about 300 more foods to the database in the next release. There also appears to be more fast food restaurant additions as well.
